What's on my table

I have several pieces going at the same time but then, don't we all? Today I've been working on the base of this evil jester. I'll have to let it dry a bit so I can do a little carving on the diamonds and that going to be a trick on a cold, rainy day like today. Hmmm, I have my stove self cleaning right now, maybe I'll set him on the stove top and see if that helps.

So, what are you working on?

No clowning around . more clown jewelry

I seem to be stuck on evil clowns lately. I'm really not that crazy about clowns so I'm not sure why my twisted little muse is insisting on me sculpting them but I must admit I am have fun creating these evil little jokers.

This one is my favorite, so far.

Jester Moon ornament

Funny how you start out to create something one way and it ends up turning out completely different than what you had in mind. I have told people in the past that when I'm sculpting it's almost as if I step out of my body and am watching the process as an onlooker. I think this is when my muse has her way and she and the art just do whatever they want.

That's what happened with my newest ornament. It's so far from where I thought I'd go with it that I must have not only stepped out of my body, I left the room completely.
