Plans for art in 2013

For a long time now I've been wanting to make tutorial videos to share with all of you showing how I do what I do. I haven't had a camera and my mic bit the dust months ago and with the craziness with my house and the move to a new state I just never could get it together enough to make it happen.

I found a webcam that I can use, it's not the best but until I can afford a good camera I'm hoping this one will do. Yesterday I went and bought myself  headphones with a mic. This weekend I'm going to set up my laptop and the camera at my little ole work space and test it all to see if I can make it all work. If so, I'm planning on making videos that I can upload to YouTube. I like to make 2 a month but I'll just have to see how all of that works out. So..... I'll keep you all up to date on this and will let you know when I have a video to share with you.

Snowman ornament video

I've been wanting to put together a video of a few of my snowman ornaments and I finally got it done. I really do like making videos, the only part that is hard is finding music that's free to use. So many sites out there have royalty free music, or so they tell you in big bold letters but when you look at their fine print it's not free at all. I did come across a few composers that do offer free music, as long as you give them credit and a link to their sites on your video. I am more than happy to do that for them.

My first youtube video

I've been wanting to make a youtube video for quite awhile now and after a great deal of research and annoying several friends and hubby with questions they couldn't answer I finally got my first one done. Although it's not exactly the way I want it I am happy with the results.
